About this product

Cajamarca in northern Peru grows washed arabica at 1,200–2,000 m, much of it organic and cooperative-produced, harvested roughly April–September; clean, sweet cups with mild acidity.

Commtora sources green arabica coffee from Cajamarca, Peru, specified by screen size, defects and cup profile, and prices every offer as a landed cost to your port — FOB origin, freight, your market's import duty and fees — against the published World Bank benchmark as an independent reference. Terms of payment and documents are agreed per contract.

Grades & specifications

Screen size (e.g. 15/16, 17/18), moisture typically 10–12.5%, defect count per 300 g sample, preparation (washed, natural, honey) and cup score for specialty lots. Crop year matters: new crop trades at a premium to old crop.

How Commtora prices it

We rebuild the landed cost to your port from the ICO arabica indicator and origin FOB levels, add freight, duty and fees, and quote with payment terms written into the contract.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between washed and natural arabica?

Washed (wet-processed) coffee has the fruit removed before drying, giving a cleaner, brighter cup; natural (dry-processed) coffee dries inside the cherry, giving more body and fruit notes. Both are graded and priced differently.

How is green arabica priced?

Against the ICE New York "C" arabica futures plus an origin differential for quality, preparation and certification. Commtora shows you the resulting landed cost to your port.

Is there import duty on green coffee?

Not in the main markets — green (not roasted, not decaffeinated) coffee under HS 0901.11 enters the EU, the UK and the US at 0% duty from our origins; for other markets the duty is quoted with the offer. EUDR due-diligence rules apply to coffee placed on the EU market.
